Q15. Will my stay be extended long enough to complete my study if I switch from one programme to another?
If you transfer to another locally accredited full-time programme before completing the current one, you will normally be allowed to extend your stay, via visa extension application, to pursue the new programme so long as you would not be able, with such extension, to accumulate 5 years or more of continuous residence in Hong Kong.
